This is her rendition of a nightgaunt, one of the faceless entities from HP Lovecraft's Dreamlands. Who says that these creatures are mindless? This particular example seems like a lovely fellow! It even managed to find a kitten! This might be an Ulthar Cat, albeit a kitten. Either way, the kitten trusts the nightgaunt, and the winged dark fellow seems to adore its feline companion. Friendship is magic!
