The voice was firm. Titania hated firm. It made her think of the trepidatious nature of this bundle in her arms. She did not
want to think about it.
โTitania!โ
The voice demanded, the Faerie Queen flicking an elongated ear in dismissal. She began to hum a soothing tune, all aglow
against the moonlight, as the babe in her arms stirred from the sudden outburst of noise, prompting gentle โshhhโs from
Titania as she swayed left and right, settling her
newborn daughter to rest.
โTitania, you and I both know this is a foolish venture. Abandon this mortal realm and relinquish this child. She does not
belong with us - you do.โ Violente entreated, her voice plain with the hurt by her sisterโs betrayal. Her hands curled into
fists as she stomped her foot, the heel of her leather boot clicking loudly throughout the marble room.
Titania once again ignored her sister, lifting the peach-coloured rabbit to her head and gently inhaling. Her soft scent was
reminiscent of the sun's gentle rays. โHmm...She smells like the sunโฆโ Titania mused, smiling down at her child, outright
denying Violente the right to her voice. โTITANIA. I WILL NOT BE SNUBBED! You know the fate of this child is to end in
tragedy! Do not be foolhardy! Return home with us!โ
โThat shall be your name, my little sunchild. My perfect little miracle.โ The Queen replied dreamily, smiling as she swayed,
resuming her humming as her eldest sister snarled and turned, slamming the door with such a force.
โLook, Aurora... The dawnโฆโ Titania whispered, watching the sunrise out of the iron-cast window before her, careful not to
touch or bring the child near it. โYou will bring our two worlds together again, my darling.โ
