The use of magic in of itself is dangerous; deadly even. Let alone the practice of dark magic; chaotic, swirling, brought into existence by sheer force of will. But some practitioners tempt the energies of chaos through displays of power - Dread Auras, Dark Mist, and Malevolent Fields. This is the most apparent among the leaders of the Lithian people, the various Patriarchs or Matriarchs that rule their broods. However Lady Caduceus l'Encre has chosen a more refined approach to her mastery - She is the Supreme Matriarch, she is both leader and exemplar of her people, and shows just how much power and control she truly has when you enter her domain. A dress made from the ever-reaching hands of the souls of the dead she has bound to serve her will, coil around her in vain hopes of receiving their mistress' attention, to cover her naked body. When the Supreme Matriarch is in battle or threatened, these same hands strike at her foes with malignant fervor, going so far as to control the bodies of the dead to be her minions.
