Today, I was at the office of my coach and friend, Daniël Koper, and he had the idea to take some pieces of paper and sketch something. I agreed and made my own ( https://www.furaffinity.net/view/44272662/ ) while he worked on this illustration of the baby form of Magmar, being Magby. It looks absolutely stunning, and it gave me Johto Animé Saga vibes, as well as reminding me of the various locations in Johto, mainly Goldenrod City, National Park and... the Pokémon Daycare of all places. Though I guess that last one does make sense, since you receive Magby's and other Pokémon's Eggs from the Daycare Couple (I think that's their name), which, if I remember correctly, is located near Goldenrod City.

I absolutely love how this one turned out, and I actually mean it with this one! 🔥 Like I said, it gives me Animé vibes, but it also reminds me of the official Ken Sugimori artwork for this Monster.
