Reem is a feminine name really, it means "female deer", specifically the beauty of feminine eyes...
the point of his character is to be overpowered, but with no motive or will left, yet he can't remove himself from his life because of some rules the world has, so he's stuck in the bottom waiting for "someone" to pull him out (I'm a sucker for the "I'm gonna teach you to love again" stories)
