Hehe, so I show up at Sparkfun Electronics Inc. as Skaros with fully operational animatronic wings, and hilarity ensues! :)
As I entered the door, one of the women in the office said over the phone, "Sorry, I'm listening, but I'm really distracted by this guy in a blue dragon costume who walked in". XD
A lot of people came out of the office to see what was going on. I showed off my animatronic wings and they were thoroughly impressed.

All in good time! I haven't really gotten around to it yet, but I have some videos that should be ready to go on my Youtube page pretty soon.
Yeah it was pretty awesome walking in there like that. Might do it again later on. The receptionist went on the company's IRC channel and said "Drop what you're doing and come to reception, to see something awesome."
Yes! they are animatronic! took me about a year to get it to where it is now. Runs on a custom designed printed circuit board with the Arduino IDE. Six servos at 21 lb-in. of torque extend and flap the wings to approximately a 9 foot span.
I may be working with some other people on an animatronic tail and ear design that I'm working on. Should be pretty sweet!
