The Bindmancer - Randomized Dungeon Layout Progress
Lots of in-engine work this week!
I've built a bunch of reusable dungeon tile assets and created a state machine that randomly stitches them together.
When this goes live players get a randomized dungeon layout every time! Save for "Special" dungeon floors. <3

I'm sure there will be some kinks to work out.
Pun aside, I'm glad we won't have any strange no-door situations or open, empty passages. Having this will make the game all the more interesting.
It looks like small packs of enemies are also part of each selectable tile pack, but I'm sure there will be variation in the new build to make for even more generation combinations.

Suggestion: It's clear that your dungeons are constructed from square sections. That's good, it means you can rotate and flip them for eight times the diversity, subject to a little adjustment of the positions of things visible on walls. But the elements are small enough to be predictable - you want some larger pieces as well, that take up multiple sections and appear more rarely. That will let you have features that are too large for a single section, like long corridors with side-passages or open hallways.
