Way back in '82 i wanted to try doing sf & fantasy magazine and book illustration....i think i only sent the portfolio out to a couple magazines....no bites.Then later got work in animation - and then i started getting illustration job offers but was too busy to take most of them! :(

i did end up doing a bit of illustration work over the years for Twilight Zone, Weird Tales, Midnight Grafiti, etc.... Which are now back in print in a few story collections ! Woo-hoo ! (not these pics - these were portfolio pieces.)

crow-quill pens and india ink on bristol - each pic was drawn on it's own book-mark size piece of thick bristol paper
each pic approx 8 1/2 x 3 inches

added the black boarder tonight cuz i'm diggin on pixels that don't light up during Inktober ... the black ..the cold ...the wind of Inktober .... signals never sent ...sights never meant to be seen ...a rush of nothing .... the velvet embrace of unknowing ... the very woo of the woo-woo ... stuff like that.
