I wrote this description of my Proteus species to remove some of the wrong ideas people have had about them. It's pretty long so if you don't want to read the whole thing the short version is : Proteus are highly advanced, space invading bastards, and not sympathetic rainforest creatures.

The reason I tend to make my Proteus look good and peaceful in my art is because I love them, and have a tinted view of them because of it. Also they do tend to live peacefully on their homeworld without trouble. The Nithrak do all the fighting and dirty work, the Proteus stay home and give orders.

Hopefully now I can upload my art of them without anyone getting the wrong impression.
