My dormitory was an old Holiday Inn (downtown Cleveland, next to Cleveland State University). We had our own showers (2 persons per room), but the walls were so thin you couldn't keep any secrets. Nor keep out any distractions. If I needed to study I would head for the campus, and wander around until I found a good spot to study or do homework.
