Well... after so many people have asked me to translate my comic #2 ("Might and Magic") I finally decided to do it!
Yes, all my comics have an English version now!
But why haven't I translated cimic #2 not earlier?
The thing is... I never liked this story because it's such a "typical" and less innovative plot: "Reptile comes to New York" - that's basically it!
So what? It was 1997 and I was just 17 years old!!
But after writing the new translation I figured that there are some cool panels, drawings and expressions in the comic... and now it's reborn!
In the new translated version you will have the following aspects:
+ 47 pages in English
+ better scan quality
+ pure nostalgia
+ the story of any charater fits to my current design
+ many fun references (mostly 80s and 90s related)
+ Reptile and Xevon talk in a way you've never heard them before
+ I've fixed many plot holes (and surely created some new ones... XD )
+ all five comic books are now available in English

Biggest plot holes:
1.) Why the hell did Thronos send Reptile to Earth in the first place? Why not just kill him?
2.) Why can everybody understand Reptile (and the other way around)?
3.) How can Xevon and his people follow and save Reptile?
4.) Why do the human scientists need Reptile anyway?

Oh, that's great! Tbh I though you would never translate it, since it has been 5 years since our first discussion about my contribution in that, but I glad you did it. And that's okay, I understand why you did it by yourself. At least I helped you with the "Circle of Doom" comic book and that was really fun to experiment with fonts and effects.

And... like I said, I really value all the work you've done for me. But this time, it wasn't enough time to write a script and send it to you... it was easier to erase the speech bubbles myself and just add the new text. Also, I had to change a lot!!!

I just got a new school textbook in my English class. We had to buy a new textbook in 1997 and it happened to have a huge section about NYC!
I saw all those photos and wanted to draw them. Maybe, I liked the buildings so much... I dunno.
Fact is, that the first comic was purely medieval stuff... and I wanted a great change - a huge contrast to that! And NYC is indeed a huge contrast to RULUS!
Also, it was a challenge to draw architecture like this.
And like I said... I just loved those photos.

This was one of the comics that made me want to learn German just to read! I spend hours trying to cross reference for google translate back in that early day when it first came out! (And wasn't very accurate due to not having community translations) But now... I am graced with the happiness of reading it in Engels!
As much as I remember it, seeing this face again, on page 20...https://reptile-universum.de/reptil.....-UK/Page20.png That expression at the end is just so fitting.
