As Halloween draws near, the mascot of Lion's Share is forbidden from being worn. Fed up with his boss' defiance on the matter, Zachary puts it on to find what the fuss is all about...
I realize that all my stories so far have been character TFs, so I wanted to see how writing a more original story would go. There's no better time to do this than Halloween, the perfect season for magical costumes to come alive! Aside from that, this was also a sort of practice on writing more fleshed-out characters.

An interesting take on a costume tf, well, more like symbiosis than tf. The lion is cute and the reasoning of Zach for ignoring the warning also makes sense. You wrote the suiting up scene really nicely, a good piece by piece scene. For your first original work, it turned into something solid.
Yeah. I usually don't like the ones that are basically one way TFs or ones that only just bond with the said host and then transform into the real thing and that's it. I prefer ones that talk, have personality and sapience and can be taken off or suited on back and forth, from either its own doing or by the wearer.
