I got the urge to draw Mephis again after listening to Beast in Black's new song "Moonlight Rendezvous". Mephis has a lot in common with the subject of the song.

I've thought about re-writing her story again. I can't remember even half of what exactly was going on in the original series of short stories that I wrote about Mephis. Only that she wasn't like everybody else and her former "employer" was not too happy that she wasn't "working" for him anymore.

This was my second go at doing something 100% digital. Like with the portrait I did of Fury, this was done completely in a digital art program. My typical method has always been to sketch on paper and then ink and color that in a digital program. I'll probably still do that, since drawing in a sketchbook is a lot easier when I can't be at a computer, but I do want to start working with full digital more. Anyway, the point is that there are some issues with it because it wasn't done on paper first, but that's due to lack of practice with a full digital method. I still think it turned out well.
