This is so incredibly beautiful! The way you have us together is just perfect and wow, I'm just speechless. I stared at this for a good while before finally gathering enough of my senses to type! I adore the background and the song is very fitting (I do like Nightwish too). The entwined hands and nose touching is just so sweet. I showed this right away to Draogh as well and he loves it. Thank you so much again!!
Gah how did I miss your comment? *scratches head* Here I was waiting for you to reply and it seems you did so and I missed it. Ah well, hehe, glad you like it, I hope I was accurate with all the markings and colors, it took me a while to get them as close as I could to the ref sheets. I had to mix several colors to get some of those shades just right, but it seems the result justified the means. :D Thanks again for the commission, I'm happy you both are pleased with it. :)
Haha, no worries! I tend to sometimes do that with comments too. And the markings are accurate! They're pretty complex, especially on Draogh, so I don't expect exact replicas (even I can't sometimes... XD) so some changes here and there are fine. You did an excellent job! And you're welcome!
I really love the newer stuff, particularly the tracks "Last of the Wilds" and "Meadows of Heaven". I know they caught a lot of flack when they switched singers, and a lot of the fans really didn't want to like the new girl, but I like her a lot, I like the direction their music has taken. I love putting on Nightwish when I'm working on artwork, its perfect for fantasy art. :D Sometimes I sing along, hehe.
I like Tarja and Anette pretty equally. Neither is 'better', just different.
'Last of the Wilds' makes me want to get a set of Uilleann pipes SO BADLY!!! I already play a mess of weird instruments, and a set of Uilleann's would fit right in. And I love playing guitar to that whole album!
