Species: Camouflage patterned Spotted Hyena
Alternate Forms: pit bull/doberman, wolverine, tiger, caracal, three-headed dog (halloween form only), can occasionally be drawn as a human with hyena ears and a tail
She does NOT have an anthro form. All of her animals forms are capable of standing upright and wearing some clothing items. This is just about as "anthro" as she gets.
Height: 29 inches
(Short for a yena, but taller than most other canines)
Weight: between 90 and 100 lbs, depending on last meal
(Generally considered slim to average weight for her size)
Appearance: Warm brown camouflage patterned fur with dark spots, dark leg stockings, and a dark face mask, light cream/tan like markings on chest, head, back and belly designed to mimic the markings of a pit bull, one eye is a fiery orange, the other was ripped out by a former friend of hers and has since been replaced by a synthetic cybernetic one
Accessories: usually seen wearing a blue and white cap (identical to the cap worn by the character Ellis in the Left 4 Dead 2 games made by valve), but also wears a black or a blue and white Mets baseball cap, a black hat with the "Left 4 Dead" logo on the front, a black and white plaid military style cap, or a plain black military style cap with a few metal accents on one side. Also wears bandannas around her neck- either blue and orange camouflage, monochromatic camouflage, black with white/gray paisley, plain black with small silver/gray accents or just simply plain orange. Also has a set of silver military dog tags featuring her video game handle "Top Dawg" on each one. All of which are optional to include.
Likes: happy trance music, meat and most greasy nasty foods, baseball, football, sports and competitions in general, video games, being lazy, running, anything that has anything to do with the military, camouflage patterns, guns, heavy machinery, science, astronomy, doing anything in the presence of a small group of friends (finds comfort/security in numbers)
Dislikes: your mom.... lol no. sparkledogs, the color pink, anything related to or flavored like any sort of berry (strawberries, cherries, blueberries, the whole nine yards), mornings, Mondays, being by herself, anything with a lot of suspense involved, horror movies and things with "jump out" scenes, spiders, skeletons and zombies (though she loves Left 4 Dead), egotists, politicians, losing too many times in a row (usually in the case of a video game)
General Personality: Open-minded, inquisitive, analytical, reserved, somewhat bashful and easily embarrassed, regretful, generally friendly, light-hearted, amiable and cooperative, extremely loyal and devoted to friends, passionate about her beliefs and ideals, headstrong and stubborn in matters of morality and justice, somewhat idealistic, guilty of being somewhat OCD and a bit of a perfectionist (which may annoy or offend some people, as she tends to ask/expect to much of them)
Quirks:
- Pants a lot or sticks out her tongue idly when nervous or unsure about a situation
- Face and ears are exaggerated and very expressive, making it difficult for her to lie without it being obvious (she is a terrible liar in general, though)
- Has an anxious 'tick', scratches her left ear vigorously whenever she feels she's made a mistake (usually in social situations)
- Loves hats, especially baseball caps and military style hats of practically any sort to the point of near obsession
- Likes to chew on things that she likes/loves. This includes anything from her favorite hat to a friend sitting nearby (she chews the heck out of Kaylink's sona Zoe whenever she gets the chance)
- Easily bribed or motivated by food, especially seafood (loves crab meat of any sort) and barbecue stuffs (ribs, chicken, kabobs, hot dogs, etc)... oh and bread. Garlic bread, bread sticks, cheesy bread, waffles, muffins, bagels, anything made of bread she loves.

Haha, well thank you very much. ^^ That metal plate was probably the easiest part of this whole thing, compared to the camo. Though, I'm going to be honest and say that the camo is just a pattern overlay, not complicated at all. x3 But it was a pain coloring her markings over top of it.
As always I love the new designs you make. You keep it original yet not all out there in your face when it comes to the markings. They're your own and the colors fit well with the character and the species. They also balance each other out. Not too much of either. I love the different poses and expressions you've drawn to bring out her personality. I LOVE the cyber eye! It was a surprising new touch and I'm drooling all over it. :) And of course all the info you wright to bring her out even more. Gotta say I love your work. It inspires me when I see you draw on youtube everytime. I especially love the faded pic in the background of her with the axe in her mouth.

(Though I do have kind of a nitpicky thing: hyenas are not canines. It goes straight from the mammalian order carnivora (carnivores) to their own group, hyaenidae, no canid relation)

It's always good to meet someone who finally knows a thing or two. x3 I get a million and one comments on my youtube page WAT I THOUGHT HYENAS WERE FAT DOGS LOL. I always die a little inside. B( Lots of people draw me fanart and give Avy dewclaws. As much as I love fanart, that is not how you yena.

I'd be sad too if people said those kind of things to me haha. Though, it seems like the public is getting less and less educated about animals in general? I was at the zoo the other day in front of the jaguar exhibit (It was sleeping against the glass), and this little girl comes up to the glass and points and goes ' Look at the tiger~! *Blah blah blah tiger comments* ' and her mom was right there, agreeing with her. Didn't correct her, didn't even seem to know the difference herself. That was my 'dying a little inside' moment.

Omg tell me about it. xD I was walking through a street market on my way to the store and there was a table selling taxidermy pieces, one of which was an interesting shoulder/head mount of a female wild pig. There was a family gathered around it. "Mommy what is it?" and, studying it thoroughly, the mother responded "I think it's a hyena. Look at the teeth." She was pointing at the tusks...

This happens way too often, it really is a shame. I guess people think that because I'm not active on DA anymore that I won't notice. This person in particular is a known art thief and Kaylink and I have had to yell at her and some of her friends several times for infringement.
I'm not even going to bother anymore. Most of the time, these Avy look-a-likes only last a few days anyway before they get bored and move on.

It's really not a story worth sharing. Avy is just me, only far more symbolic and about... 80 times less literal. x3 But the concept still stands as a symbol of something that happened to me that I'd rather not tell. I prefer to just... move on and forget about it. Hence the faceplate repair job. Just patch up and move along.
