A mamagen is a motherly unit to protogens and are responsible for both birthing and nurturing. Whether or not they are involved in the process of turning a newborn protogen into a protogen (with the cybenetic parts) or not to my knowledge is unknown. In terms of how the preform the act of birthing is also to my knowledge unknown but I would imagine it would be live birth as they do seem to take on mammalian traits. As for any additional info on them, they're fluffy, adorable, snuggle beasts >w<
