in the last post I made there was a lot of hoops to jump through to get the big damage; having to build around an energy economy, getting an absurd power boost from the helminth invigoration, juggle 3 buffs at once with separate cast times (one of which was not re-castable, which shouldn't be a thing IMO), maintain spacing so as not to get caught in nully shockwave, desperately trying to avoid the “toxin damage” modifier, trying (and failing ultimately) to dance carefully around my opponents to not get instantly one shot.
This one is pretty simple,
1) give nidus big ax
2) unga bunga smash with axe.
No buffs, no spacing, not worried about self preservation, just getting in their face and whacking them with the tenet agendus. There is one catch I suppose, I had to give him ash's shuriken for full armor strip, but that is pretty straight forward. I chose to give up larva for it since I can use magus anomaly for grouping, and it even works against enemies impossible to ragdoll.
One thing I would have done differently is using a primary that has some kind of sticky property to it like the torrid or mutalist cernos. As you may notice in the vid, the hyena-type demolishers have a tendancy to escape the beatdown I lay on them and even worse sometimes find a shield osprey to fully recover that pesky shield instantly. I think some twisted mutalist munitions impaling them in their rear ends and modded to give off a constant flow of magnetic procs blocking off their shield regen even if they manage to slip past me might make things go smoother. Nyx doesn't have that problem since she just rips off both shield and armor with psychic bolts lol.
ALSO I just now realized the screen shake isn't from me pushing the mouse too hard, it is indeed something I can turn off thanks to someone who saw the vid already and asking me why I didn't lol. I also didn't see the “camera tracks melee target” option till just now too, I should have been using that probably as well for when the stance lunges me out the way :/
BTW is there some kind of "anti-cheat" on pausing during solo? My ability to press escape and pause broke in the middle of the run much to my frustration : P
ANYWAYS for those who don't play this sorry about clogging your inbox, but this will be the last for awhile I promise XD
