A quick collaboration done the other night with the fantastically wonderful Kaylink. She did the lineart, the coloring, and the background/lighting. I had the easy jobs of sketching the initial drawing and pooping out some shading. x3 Next time, we'll have to trade jobs so I feel more useful.
I am extremely pleased with how this came out so I thought I'd post it with Avy's new character sheet, since it's just so lovely and features Avy's rarely seen wolverine form. The badger beside her is Zoe, Kaylink's fursona, whom is normally a bobcat. But both of our fursonas have alternate forms to highlight our moods/emotions for artistic purposes.

You should feel proud of this. both of you. The colors, poses, the lighting! All done beautifully. Its amazing how its just a "quick collaboration" This would've taken me a while. I loved watching it on youtube from both accounts. I love the intense purple and I'd have to say the shine of color from the eyes are my favorite part of the picture. They really stand out and pull me into the picture.

Seriously though, this is brilliant. The lighting and tones are great, and the positions and expressions really work well together and with the scene <: Bad-arse, fo'srs.

But anyways, I really love the colours on this. I'm generally not a fan of anything involving any amount of purple as far as artwork goes, but this seems really well down. I love the whole mood really, and the wolves in the background just tie everything together. 83 I didn't notice them at first, but once I did it was like...idk that much better.
Not in an OMGWOLVES way, just in an OH WOW THIS IS SWEET kinda way. :P

I was only posting on Youtube for awhile. x3 But I'd had this FA for years and never used it, until I left Deviantart. Most of my friends were just so crushed, and I was crushed without them, that I started posting (albeit infrequently) here for their sake. Most of them moved here from DA long before I did.
I'm not a big fan at being in the center of the furry community... but whatever. I'd do almost anything for my buddies. x3
