The story goes that Ida found a baby Royal (or Mountain) Wyvern that grows big enough to be ridden.
And her brother in the future found three baby faerie dragons, which he not only taught all the wisdom, but also taught a spell to enlarge themselves. Thanks to that, it was only a matter of time before they had light armor on them, and they were already supporting their troops from the air.
