Inktober 2020 - Day 24, "He Don't Know When To Fold 'Em"
Guy's about to get a rude awakening as to what happens on the felt table.
I am ABSURDLY PROUD of how this one came out. Especially the experimental panel layout (stolen from one Art Spiegelman used in "Maus") and those sinuous white threads in the composition. I got to indulge my love of curves for such a curve's sake, and of texture at all costs... Took me months and months but I'm very happy with the end result. This could end up in a comics portfolio sometime.

Ealadubh, of someone trying to Englich on a bet and learning the consequences of rudeness to... actually I have no idea how this TF is triggered. He's gonna get a quick lesson in how the physical laws of the transformation universe bend towards puns. Gravity well.

You've got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away, know when to run. You never count your money when you're sitting at the table...
Also, Maus is awesome. No shame in admitting you stole a panel layout from it.
