I can imagine someone doing this, carving those words into a rock somewhere. Millions of years pass and another species rises up to a technological level. Then one day archaeologists come across these words, preserved in some deep cavern and spend decades trying to figure out what they say and what they mean.
I thought you would head more in this direction for "X" than eXtinction.
