So something to make me feel really old and shows just how boring I am overall. I first created the screen name of MigeYeFoxe during my freshman year of college as my name for AIM. Back in high school I would occasionally go by the nick name of Fox. But when you go online, Fox is way too common of a name. So it needed to be more than that. And due to the heavy influence of my Fox Mage Magic story, I figured calling myself a fox mage would work, but that is too boring. So I borrowed a joke line I wrote from a partial language I made up in high school: "Ozsonmigeyefoxe Caresenganadona" (I am the mage of all foxes, hear me roar). And since Ozson meant "I am" I went with OzsonMigeYeFoxe, and thus on October 23, 2003, MigeYeFoxe was born. Yeah, I know, extremely lame. But that means that I have been using this screen name for now 18 years. Mige as a screen name is an adult now. It is currently the only screen name I use (I used to also have AnAnonymousFox for when I felt insecure about being there, but that one I've phased out).

And to commemorate the occasion of Mige turning 18 I decided as my weekly drawing to simply redraw the first image I ever drew of Mige. My first drawing of Mige was Mar 17, 2004. And he original design was that of a simple fox mage, with the expected artistic flares you'd expect from someone with a pack of prismaCOLOR pencils and grew up on JRPG's. I didn't actually settle on Mige's actual design and colors until I did an art grind of the character (draw same character every day for 6 months straight) in 2009.

As for the image itself. Was trying a sort of intermediary coloring technique with general shading on top of my fading brush size thing that kind of failed part way through so I had to do the rest of the fur normally and the shirt thing normally. Obviously went with Mige's current coloration in their anthro form rather than just recreate the old colors completely, though I did recreate the ridiculous outfit, just making it a bit more modest. Beyond that I probably should have pushed the eyes a bit closer together but didn't notice until I had colored the eyes and by then I had too many layers in use to not just make that annoying. I also probably could have done higher detail, but I wanted it to at least be as close to Mige's birthday as possible. Total drawing time of a bit over 7 hours.
