Yeah, I'm glad you went with the hound design. It feels like he has a lot of character! Which is important when making a character! Even if it's a character based on a pre-existing character.

Uhm... but "Warren" is not a German word. Could it be that you had "Wächter" in mind?

My understanding is that's what it means :) I see it listed variously as Old German, Middle English, Teutonic, and French to mean "guardian, keeper of game preserve, warden".

I'm also not going to be a stickler for details over a mutt - perhaps with the other characters, but not this one.

In my defence: my old Teutonic is a bit rusty :-D
Maybe I should use it more often, e.g. when ordering a beer tonight in the bar.

Fantastic work! I'm so glad you went with the hound dog look. I'm already imagining that face/those ears flopping and swaying during a particularly badass drum solo.

sweet! he's like a cross between Rolf and Animal. I love that he's only playing a snare drum but rocking it so gotdurn hard that he has to spread his legs all wide to retain his balance, is protecting his cute lil paws with bad-ass gloves, and has a back-up stick at the ready in case he breaks one from bashing the skins so hard, which he's probably done at least once in the past. He also looks like a beach-bum in his sneakers, which are too clean to have seen anything but pavement and sand, and his boardshorts, which leads me to think that this picture sounds kind of like WAVVES:

He came out awesome! Scruffy but adoooooorable, probably because he seems like a sweetie for some reason. Also, those COLORS! <3 It's like you sang a song and the paints (or other medium?) just slipped together and held hands to make this. Yes, I'm silly, but I really like how this came out! (goes to see if you did the rest of the Bremen group).
