Now, Kajnjama was originally created for  Koda's cats, but it's long since become my own weird thing I do calligraphy in and practice my "how to think like a cat" ideas.

You can tell the influence of Yiddish in the words, but the number one basis for the language was the Vanuatu Creole Bislama, which I've been obsessed with for ages. Creoles in general - technically this is a creole in-universe, and I've sketched out how it evolved.
