Okay so this was meant to be a full scene, but unfortunately the artist has had a bunch of stuff going on recently so they had to cancel. I commissioned this in June, and I got this sketch in July. It got cancelled just now. I've been tempted to cancel one of my own comms recently, so I can sympathise.
However, I thought I'd still post this, since it's a pretty cool sketch on its own. I haven't really got a backstory for this. I'm thinking maybe Iza went through a breakup. Recently I even had an idea on who with (not Oz), and I'm trying to design them.
I think moreso, it's a good insight into Iza through her living space. Note the stolen signs, knives and band posters, with no clear place. She takes what she can, whether she needs it or not.
And her relationship with Victoria. She may have kept Iza in a self-destructive life for her own reasons, but she's still a sympathetic ear. Iza is effectively her daughter, and she realises she's got nobody else.
