It's me again!
About the forehead angle: this is effectively a redesign of my character as far as most of my art is concerned. The angle is an innovation (possibly accidental) that dates back to my first anthro art in 2019 (which you can see here). I went back and forth for a while on if I liked this or the curve, or the curve sometimes and the angle sometimes, but at least for now I'm gonna try the angle as authoritative as part of me giving artists better guidelines, particularly as they relate to the snout. I realize the base ref sheet (the one that isn't anthro) also has a curve instead of an angle on the line on the forehead, and after playing around with it in MS Paint I think I like it that way. So the explanation I've come up with is that any art with the curve is ol' Zil/Zilchie/Zilchexo, the character, in anthro form, whereas the angle represents Zil/Zillian Makhtcekso/Zillian Rajayamuy, as well as a direct avatar for myself (Zilchie could just as easily be an avatar for me but I haven't resonated with em in that way for some time now, mostly just because I'm older now and have moved away from being permanently in ":3" "n, ,n" escapist mode. That's something I reserve more for particular people now... but I won't bore you with the details ;3)
Tangent: I'm pretty sure some of my art that was explicitly supposed to be Zillian Rajayamuy does not have the scar. I can think of one piece with Guilmon and Raj that doesn't have it. I'll just shrug that one off lol, happened before the scar or something. As for why Raj and Makh have the exact same scars... don't look at me! (There is an answer though =p)
