Nyeogmi gave me a bit of a makeover, and he's giving me a chance to admire the result. I must admit, it's quite a striking look. Exactly the sort of thing that makes you want to... stop, and... stare. I get the feeling that these won't be the last changes for the new me.
This was my first time hiring Marz and he did really great work here. He had a great sense for the concept, and I love the ideas that he had for putting it together. He really captured the feel that I was going for and made it look easy! And I think the quality of the finished piece speaks for itself. Definitely look him up if you've got a project that you want realized.
Also has a daylight version if you want a better look, and who wouldn't?

My first impressions in looking at the pic made me think it was a Hallowe'en concept, where a bat friend of yours had become a vampire for the holiday, while you, the vaguely anubian jackal type, had become a werewolf.
I see now that it's the bat who seems to be a vampire 100% of the time, as well as a habitual hypnotist. I wonder if the idea of the makeover is just the clothes, or if I was right about the werewolf look. Or maybe that's just how the artist drew you. Less sleek and more fluff/buff.

The more chunky/fluffy feel is indeed an artifact of the artist. I tend to not resist such things. Letting everyone maintain their respective comfort zones usually turns out a better finished product, and there are a fair few aspects of my character's design that came from the way an artist interpreted him.
I did post this one to coincide with spooky season though. So your read on this is pretty close to what I intended. :3
