This boy here is Neo!

My friend and I made this OC together (he's a shared OC) and we both love him so much! He's a sweet glowy boy that can fly around using mage wings that are boosted by a special aerial magic allowing him to hold the mage wings for an extended period of time without a light source and glide swiftly through the clouds.

Generally he's very friendly, helping birds who are hurt, lost, or can't find food, or even assisting other furs that can't fly with their chores. Occasionally he likes to play pranks or do other (mostly) harmless mischief as well!

Neo loves fruit, Greek mythology, and spooky stories, and he really doesn't like water or anything salty. As you can probably guess from my previous statement, he REALLY doesn't like the ocean, either.

This was my first time trying to do smooth shading! Ami, the person who co-owns this OC and also helped with this art, has done smooth shading before, so she helped a lot with that part. This certainly wasn't easy to do, but it was totally worth it.

I'm tempted to print a picture of Neo onto a T-shirt with a cricket machine... ;0

I started this on the morning of August 14, 2021 and worked on it with Ami the entire day. We did take plenty of breaks, of course! I went to my little sister's friend's party, and I was working on this while I was there... my sister's friend group saw this while I was still working on the flats, and they loved it! I never thought I would be so pleased by the approval of a bunch of pre-teen girls, hehe. Ami had to go to bed early and I ended up finishing this on my own a little bit before 1 AM the following morning... err, without sleeping in the time before then. ;w;

I'm not quite sure what Ami used other than ibisPaint X, but I used ibisPaint X, my iPad 14.7, and my finger. The total time I spent on this was 5 hours and 8 minutes, and Ami says that she spent somewhere close to 3 hours on her part.
