No such thing, haha. One thing I love about the Victorian era, and honestly much of historical architecture pre 1940s, when architecture became very plain and cynical.
Banister at Eastern State Penitentiary. Interior was meant to be relatively simple in style, but the Victorians managed to sneak in a little decor. Can you imagine prisons of today putting in a railing like this? pfft!
