And another remix here, this time of Clock Town from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.
This one was a bit tricky with what would normally be the drums as I couldn't quite sort it out so that it sounded right so I ended up giving in, using some synth drums that are most likely nowhere near 8-bit and here we are. *shrugs*
As with all of my 8-bit remixes I recognise that strictly speaking they're not truly 8-bit but I do try and I'd like to think that the result is closer to true 8-bit sounds then you'd get from say, running a midi through GXSCC. I've limited the number of channels and instruments somewhat as well as used 8-bit samples and/or soundfonts so hey, I tried.
As always, this was made using Linux MultiMedia Studio (LMMS) then tweaked and converted with Audacity.
