Arriving on the scene of the many battling factions, one figure that stood out was Quilalea, pictured here on the right. Leading the Sun Sea troops, she made use of her abilities to breathe and move effortlessly beneath the waves, combined with her sniper's eye, to provide a real issue for the heroes. Nevertheless, dragging her back to dry land saw to it that they could take her out.
What still wasn't clear however was why she was there. This perhaps became more clear when the heroes encountered one of her allies, Magdalen, beneath the waves. The large figure was a formidable force at the best of times, but now infected by the same necrotic energies as her compatriots, this beast of a woman was sapped of all reason...
