And so..Today I am older. It's time to say goodbye to eighteen-year-old me and meet a new figure. In fact, growing up is so unusual.. I am still that cheerful child of 12-13 years old. It's all so beautiful.. I love life. I love my birthdays. This is a special day for me. I hope everything goes well.

Happy birthday! And don't expect that cheerful child you are/were to ever go away, because that's still you. I've found as you grow older you're still the same person; it's just that certain outlooks, opinions, and preferences will evolve or change over time. What's important is that people in your life (particularly family) treat you as an adult and don't just perpetually view you as a kid.
