The fourth (and last) movement of a concerto for Cello and orchestra I wrote a few months ago based on some Appalachian folk songs. This ending is a bit more meditative and mysterious.

1:27 Second song "The False Young Man" played by the Cello, the oboe and the rest of the orchestra
2:52 A middle section begins with the third song "The Riddle Song"
4:20 The introduction theme returns in the brass
4:44 A trumpet plays the first song again
5:16 A slow march begins with alternating parts of the second and third songs
6:10 A lyrical moment for the Cello based on the third song
6:44 Quiet coda to finish things off.
