Fluttershy was heading over to Rarity boutique, they had planed a lovey hike in the Everfree forest. Fluttershy was hoping to find all sorts of creatures, but also to help Rarity. Rarity had been very stressful for the last couple of days, she is suffering from a boredom and is trying to find anyway to entertain herself. Fluttershy being the kind friend she is, asked Rarity to come on a nice walk with her, Rarity happily agreed.

Fluttershy knocked on the door of the boutique, the door shot open, scaring Fluttershy. “Oh Fluttershy, darling” smiled Rarity, “I do say you will like the costume I made for the hike.” Rarity then bolted into her room and pushed a rack with two dresses on it. The dresses were very pretty and very earthy, “I say I did a pretty good job, using more natural colors was tough, but I think I pulled threw” Rarity said to Fluttershy. Fluttershy looked at the dresses and sighed, “what’s wrong?” Rarity asked cautiously. “Oh nothing” Fluttershy smiled, “they just wouldn’t be good for a hike.” Rarely looked at the dresses, releasing her obliviousness. “OH YOU’RE RIGHT!” Rarity sobbed, “how could I have been so stupid, dresses for hiking!” Fluttershy soon conforms Rarity, “oh it’s alright, I know you worked very hard on those dresses” Flttershy said softly. “Can we at least wear them after we get back?” Rarity asked. “Of course” Fluttershy responded.

Once Rarity had cleaned the tear filled makeup from her face, she quickly threw on a much more suitable suit for hiking.

As the two left the Boutique, Fluttershy had noticed Rarity wasn’t a natural pony. Even on the way to the hiking grounds, she avoided every twig, rock, and puddle imaginable. Once they did get their, Rarity was even more rough. She constantly complained to herself, and started to regret this hike. Fluttershy couldn’t take it, she was getting fed up with Rarity, but she still wanted to help her.

Once night fell, the two ponies set up camp. While Fluttershy’s tent was relatively small and plain, Rarity’s tent was comically oversized and covered in beauty. “Instead of being outside, she would just want to be in that tent!” Fluttershy said as she was fed up with Rarity’s antics. She had thought to just leave her there and go home, but Fluttershy got another idea.

That morning, Rarity awoke to an angry Fluttershy. “Oh Fluttershy, are you alright?” Rarity asked. “It will be” Fluttershy said softly yet sternly. Fluttershy explained to Rarity of her behavior, Rarity felt bad of course, but Fluttershy was destine to get the message threw. “We’re going to keep hiking” Fluttershy stated, “but they’ll be some rules this time.” “What kind of rules?” Rarity asked nervously. “No tents, no magic, no luxury, only you me, the clothes on our backs, and a bag filled with food.” Fluttershy stated “me and you’re tents and stuff would be left behind under a tree to keep dry” Fluttershy continued. Rarity was confused at first, she said how silly this was, but Fluttershy was persistent and convinced her to keep going with these limitations. “Fine, I’ll play by you’re rule 100% to a tee, I Pinkie Promise.” Rarity then proceeded to do the Pinkie promise, “cross my hoof and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye” she said while shoving an imaginary cupcake in her eye. Fluttershy was pleased with Rarity, but wasn’t done yet. “Rarity” Fluttershy asked. “Yes?” Replied Rarity. “No shoes ether” Fluttershy informed. Rarity gasped, “what? But but m-fine…” Rarity then proceeded to take of her hiking boots as Fluttershy did the same with her sandals.

While Rarity was finishing up putting her supplies in her bags, Fluttershy pulled out a bottle of a strange, white cream. She squeezed some on her hands, and quietly moved over to Rarity’s exposed feet. Fluttershy then quickly rubbed the cream onto Rarity’s feet. “OH my goodness!” Rarity shouted. She looked over to see Fluttershy, “darling Fluttershy, what are you doing?” Rarity asked. Fluttershy replied, “this is a special cream from the crystal empire, when applied to skin, it makes it 5 times more sensitive than before. Fluttershy demonstrated as she slid her finger across Rarity’s left soles. Rarity felt it and giggled, “ah hahah! B-but why?” She asked. Fluttershy replied again, “to let you experience every moment of this hike” Fluttershy said while applying the same cream to her own feet.

Rarity walks for only a few moments and feels every bit of dirt. “So how long will this last?” Rarity asked. “24-hours, you’ll be fine” Fluttershy said calmly. Rarity sighed as she walk on to the hiking trail with her very sensitive feet.

As time passed, small giggles and laughter came from the two numerous times, once they took a break, Rarity looked at her feet. “They were dirty and covered with small pebbles and twigs with a layer of dirt to boot. The same with Fluttershy’s soft tender soles.

Another hour later Rarity wasn’t watching where she was going as she felt a puddle beneath her foot. “What is that?” Fluttershy asked. “I’m not sure” replied Rarely, “it look nothing like the other puddles we’ve seen” she then tried to step off the pinkish blob, but her foot wouldn’t budge. “Oh my, this this quite sticky!” Rarity said. “You’re telling me” Fluttershy replied as she tried to get Rarity foot out of the gooey prison. “My poor foot is stuck!” Rarity cried. Fluttershy tied desperately to get her foot unstuck, but suddenly, another one of the pinkish blob came right out of nowhere. The blob wrapped around Fluttershy’s ankle and lands on the ground. “Oh no, I’m stuck to” Fluttershy said while she tried to free her foot. Fluttershy then flew up to escape, but then another one shoot out and captured Fluttershy’s other foot. Meanwhile Rarity lift her leg, only to accidentally step on another one. “Oh my, I think I know what these creatures are!” Fluttershy meekly said, “they must be blobs, they mean no harm but will cling to a host and suck the dirt and bacteria of of them” She explained. “So these thing won’t hurt us, they’ll just eat the dirt off of us?” Rarity pondered, “that pretty disgusting, but at least it’s not permane-“ Rarity felt a tickle on her soles. The blob sucked up the dirt and ate it, but that triggered the sensitivity of the soles. Fluttershy felt it to, the two laughed and giggled as the blobs ate from their feet. “Ahahahhah, that tickles!” The ponies laughed. finally all the dirt was gone, but the blob didn’t leave. “Uh oh” Fluttershy gasped, “I think they sense the cream, but that can be sucked up.” “You mean we’re stuck here!” Rarity shouted. “Pretty much so” Sighed Fluttershy. Rarity screamed as loud as she could, nothing else could compete.

As the two ponies remanded stuck, they decided to sit down to catch a break. Rarity was getting bored, but then got an idea. She unscrunched her toes and watched as the goo seeped threw them. She then wiggled her toes, she could fell them all gunked up and sticky. Fluttershy watched and was tempted to do the same. Fluttershy pulled her feet up, unscrunched her toes and shoved them into the blob, she even stuck her feet to each other. “Hey Rarity, lift you feet up towards mine” Fluttershy said kindly. Rarity obliged, and Fluttershy squished her feet against Rarity’s feet. “Oh my, Fluttershy” Rarity gasped, “now both of our feet are stuck together!” But Fluttershy just responds with “I know!”

Rarity began to blush and the two interlocked their toes. They tried to pull their feet apart, but they were stuck together pretty tightly. Rarity wiggled her sticky toes in between Fluttershy’s incredibly sensitive feet. “AHHHAHAHAHAH!” Fluttershy screamed, it’s too much!

Suddenly the blobs started to die off. Since there seances had overloaded from the lack of food yet present signal. “What will happen now?” Rarity asked Fluttershy. “When a blob dies, it let’s go of the last thing it’s been on and converts it’s body into tree sap, witch quickly hardens into ember. Indeed Fluttershy was right. The blobs let’s go of their feet from the ground, but most of them still trapped by the ponies feet. As they died, the sap formed. “Oh dear, we’re still stuck!” Rarity shouted. “Oh no, our feet will be incased soon” Fluttershy alerted.

But as much as they pulled and pulled, the sap remained too strong. The sap finally set and turned into Amber. “Oh no” Fluttershy gasped, “we’re trapped for good!” Rarity blushed softly, but still wanted to be free. “At least they look pretty…” Rarity joked, Fluttershy laughed a little. While the sap on the out side had harden, the sap on the inside stayed nice and gooey. “At least we can still move our toes and tickle each other!” Rarity said before wiggling her sappy toes between Fluttershy’s sap filled toes.

They two remained friends, but now they were closer then ever…
