Torrent kept to cover, as the gunfire got less and less, and, when it ended, she looked around. There was no sign of the beast or the troopers, but there was still the chance one of them would come her way. Torrent looked to the mountain and thought for a moment, and then she took a deep breath and brought her claws out. She tried to climb the mountain, and climbing the rocks were not like climbing the trees. For a while it was quiet, she could just focus on getting her claws in the right places and climbing her way up to the top.
Suddenly, a shadow flew over her. Looking, up, she thought she'd spy Ash in the sky, but instead, there was a loud crash and rocks were kicked up in the air, through it, she saw it again. That monster, It had leaped all the way from the base of the mountain and just past where she was, and it started climbing up the mountain. It moved so fast and kicked rocks down Torrent's way. After a while, she eventually just took cover behind the rocks before more stones fell her way.
"I'll just let it do the heavy," Torrent said under her breath, "If it could fight people with guns, then he could handle a few more..." She looked around, and then took out her phone to make a call. "Ash, are you there? The beast is on the move again it's heading up the mountain."
"Yeah, I see it." Ash said, "the wolf looking one, right? With the large tail and many legs?"
Torrent paused at her answer, "No... the huge one, and the tentacles... What monster are you looking at?"
"What one are you looking at? I don't see a..." Ash paused for a moment, "Nevermind, I see that one too." there was a bit of static for a moment. "Look like something's drawing them up the mountain."
"Hold on, there's two monsters out here?" Torrent immediately looked around where she was, "I'll try to keep going up the mountain, but keep an eye out. There might be more out here than just them."
