i wish people would understand when we get told to just get help and go to a professional. its not as simple as easy as people make it out to be. it feels like no one will ever understand you.

Its so incredibly hard to get a doctor to believe you when you have fibro & ptsd too, they all say 'oh you are just imagining the pain/symptoms'

But thats why I made this comic, to hand it to her in person and go 'please understand how my brain works'

i hate feeling like im being gaslighted by literal ass professionals it hurts they dont even understand ND people much as NT people with mental illnesses. its why i just want to make a vent art and animatic to show everything i went thru

Well hey, drop as much trauma as it takes to get the help you need.
Obviously you're already doing well by not dumping it all at once, but if this isn't enough- maybe dump more? Do take this suggestion with a grain of salt, you certainly would know better than I whether this is reasonable or terrible advice. It's 7:22 am and I'll be going to sleep soon, so my thinking may not be right.
Anyhow, thank you for sharing this here, it is informative and clearly spreads awareness of all-too-common difficulties!

This comic definitely showcases how hard it is. I'm so sorry for your bad experiences. 😭 I also can't get a proper eval because no one takes me seriously as well. (Probably because I'm AFAB) But here's to hoping you (and I!) Can someday get the help we need. 💕 Good luck 🥺
