A new class of capsuleer ship, the "War Miner," the Privateer defines what it's like to be your own bodyguard. With an extremely thick armored shell and a few turret slots, the Privateer is all about self-defense when you're plunged head-first of the dangers of space. Along with a fair array of weapons, the Privateer also comes with a single slot for either one of ORE's strip miners or an ice harvester.
Its massive size thanks to the increased power grid and thickness of armor makes it almost as large as the Bestower class Mining Barge despite being only a third as efficient.
