the only thing i can think of anybody nitpicking in regards to the kana is that chouonpu (the dash) aren't shaped quite like a dash, traditionally

but nobody important will really care; hell it might just be the font

i can't even USE kana in my graphics editor, i have to goddamn draw them





the tsutaaja himself looks good but he's not taking up much space - the empty canvas over most of the image makes it a bit bland

you may want to add more poses of tsutaaja to place elsewhere in the image, mostly on the right

Thanks so much for the helpful critique! I appreciate the insight on the kana. Yeah, my computer doesn't have asian character support, I had to find the kana written somewhere, screengrab it, and fuck with it in Photoshop enough for it to still look "right".

I agree, it is a little bland, but that's a personal thing; my screen is so big, visually busy backgrounds mess with my eyes x_x I was aiming for "really simplistic" - I even debated shading Tsutaaja xD! But I agree, I might have taken it too far in that direction. I have a few more sketches of him laying around (him lounging around and midair attacking), I might just finish them up and add them c:.
