''SNES Choco Island 1'' Made of Actual Chocolate! 🍫
Today, I went to a chocolate workshop where we got the task of making our own construction for a house or other building, out of pieces of pure, milk or white chocolate! We covered our papers with liquefied chocolate, then broke them up into hundreds of solid pieces, kind of like building bricks for a house. After that, the work was about to begin!
I got an idea.
I thought of games I really like, and 1992's ''Super Mario Kart'' from Nintendo came to my mind. And since all of the race tracks in that game are flat and use only Mode-7 techniques to fake 3D, rather than do ACTUAL 3D, I thought I could save myself some work and time by replicating that trick and use it to create an aerial view of the track's map seen in the game. To finish it off, I drew an outline of the race track itself by using one of those super-convenient chocolate markers you often see at bakeries and the likes. The end result is quite the sight, and a delicious one at that! 😋
Our works, together with the remaining pieces of chocolate we took off while working on our masterpieces, were carefully put into plastic bags so we could take everything home to enjoy for ourselves! 🤩 I hope you guys like my recreation of SNES Choco Island 1! In the Mario Kart Retro Track series, it is a track that hasn't officially reappeared in a newer game yet, so that means it has a decently high chance to become an official Retro Track in Mario Kart 9!

Thanks! I made good use of the convenience and waited, then see what happened. The whole SNES Choco Island 1 thing, y'know? I decided to make it some kind of party by playing an extended tropical-kind-of remix of the SMK Choco Island theme! -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqQBz1TL97I
