I'm super impressed with the magnitude of this shot. Not an inch of detailed looks lost across this piece. Really enjoy the variety of landmarks. Bridge over the river. The many other flocks of birds. Hidden little mountain town.. So many wonderful ideas in this overgrown new world.

There’s even more detail in the full res version! Some features are directly from the book, such as the domed capitol building in the upper left, the Peacekeeper Citadel (sea stack connected by a land bridge), the Avian Haven, Red Cliffs, Flockplace (the square with a blue star adjacent to it), and the Healers Institute. I should probably create a labeled version of this drawing too, now that I think of it. Thanks for the detailed feedback, birdfriend.
