I think this is definitely one of my most atmospheric works done on large format (A2). Gradually I'm trying to wean myself off working only with light backgrounds, trying to get the hang of something nocturnal without turning the whole page black.
Halloween seems like an interesting enough theme for me to try to make something that would be plot interesting. I tried to capture the thick atmosphere of the forest on a Halloween night without making it look like a typical horror scene.
I want to continue to make similar works (with some idea or story told through the art), so if anyone has any ideas - write them down.
