Turns out while slimes can be either super easy or rather dangerous in the world, there is more then one way to slay them. Seems these two found a way thanks to the wolf to be able to contain and 'defeat' the slime thanks to a mixture of magic, teamwork and a LOT of convincing from the Gnoll he travels with. Seems like his plan worked and now he has that wolf all swollen and ready to enjoy all to his self.
