For the vulpix mind, to feel the human mind having fully receded was a bit of a relief. Not so much because they couldn’t object anymore as it was they weren’t there to be a distraction. Without such distraction they can put their all into escaping, especially with all the other trainers so very close. Nothing more seems to be shifting or adjusting. There is a sense of completeness in having their transformation completed, to be in the body they’ve always meant to have. But the vulpix isn’t at all interested in securing exclusive access to this body just yet. Especially not here. In the future, maybe. They won’t be ruling out to give in and become someone else’s notch. But they at least want to be able to enjoy being truly free without being bound to anyone but themselves for a while. And to do that they need to escape and ditch the trainers somehow. And all without giving up the wallet. If given the choice between the two, they’d clearly take freedom, but there are many things that would be made far more annoying if this information is lost and they can make it through the night.
