I'm really sorry to hear about what happened... the exact same thing (Well...cept I'm a girl he told to move out because another girl was coming.) happened to me last year. :( If you need someone to talk to feel free to hit me up.
As for the poem I liked the way it read. It was like every time you try to move forward in the poem 'I love you.' stopped you from doing so. Much enjoyed.
