So, this is the pic I've been most excited about for the past few weeks. This is a three way collab between me  blacksheeptfs (who provided the original sketch) and  cecaeliafanatic (who added the VHS effects). I'll be submitting a copy of the one without the vhs effects added so you can see its original colors in my scraps.
I like that the with in this pic looks like a Saturday morning cartoon special. When I was sharing it around my buddies for advice, I lamented how I wished I could make it even more like an old VHS screenshot and Cecaelia obliged. I am just astounded by how well that came out. I'm considering actually making a fake VHS cover for this to be a part of as a side project.
So, what is the plot of this hypothetical Saturday Special? A girl on the high school track and field team is training for the big match when she has an encounter with an evil old witch that leaves her slowing things down a bit. With the help of some new animal friends, she'll help recover the witch's magic lantern and save the forest - and just maybe win the big match, too!
I'd have watched the hell out of that as a kid.

New witch's name is decided: she will be called Tortuga.
