I always wondered how Zephra and my round tigs fit in the meta of furrydom. Fertility of such a high order clearly disrupts the normal day-to-day of society, but when society is filled with a variety of species, hybrids, and the like, hyperfertility feels like just another spice on the burger that is the world stage of life. It just to happens that Zephra's family is pretty much exclusively hyperfertile, which may or may not align with those of others. This makes family events into sizeable gatherings and family reunions into conventions.
Zephra has a lot of sisters, and they have lots of cubs to carry - whether boosting their family size or as a surrogate to others - but sometimes it helps to find another mother of sizable fertility outside the fam to meet and talk to, even if for a little bit.
Amanda would absolutely fit this situation. Both are expectant mothers of many, and they are expecting to have plenty more. But they are not just a pair of mothers who want to have huge pregnancies, no. They also want to be a mother and care for their cubs as well as they can. One such thing a mother does is setup playdates. How about prenatal playdate planning? Some call it premature, but when the litters are large enough to fill smaller maternity wards, you need to plan a LOT in advance! I picture the two wandering into one another, probably en route to one of their many destinations in their busy lives, but they just have to stop and meet up formally. Of course, having baby pics is one thing. Ultrasound pics are especially good, too, to show how many littluns are on the way. Goodness that's a lot of photos X3
(also I imagine Zephra might have some spotted kids, too, what with the father being a snow leopard and all, but hey they could have stripes, too!)
Now the question is which of the two's home would be the ground zero for their playdates. Maybe they should rent or buy a space to save the trouble for them both. Or find another mother or family member to be the sacrificial host of the chaos. Cubs running around squealing and mewling and other such sounds of joy, conflict, and occasional needs for boo-boo kisses.
They can have that while the mothers sit back, eat some ice cream together, and talk about the next batch of wonderful soft stripes soon to come.
(no story blurb really here, since I didn't want to cut into Amanda's story - Her Tiger Pajamas - which is available at the above Patreon and is still ongoing!)
