ZSU-23 Anti-aircraft tank
I photographed this beast at the Rock Island Arsenal Museum in Rock Island Illinois coming back from MFM.
This vehicle was captured outside Kuwait City in 1991.
Armed with radar guided quad 23MM cannon, its rather lethal against low flying aircraft and helicopters, and most certainly against soft skin and lightly armored ground targets as well. This vehicle is Soviet made, used by Iraq.
This was the first time I got to see the real deal up close and personal.

Of course what you don't see is that the armor on the turret is so thing that 7.62mm rounds will go right through it, in desert storm we captured one that looked like a cheese grater. It's ammo bins were empty or it would have gone up like a roman candle, a lot of the Soviet stuff was like that the armor on the BMP's was crap as well.
