Yeah it kinda has that effect doesn't it, and it seems like the sketch moreso than the colored version.

That's true, and I wonder why. Some kind of weird psychological effect. I'd ask my girlfriend, the psychologist, but she'd laugh at me....

I'd say part of it has to do with the slight expression change but I think the main thing is her having both paws facing forward which looks a bit more like an animal on it's back wanting a belly rub.
