It’s Halloween and Issac wanted to dress up for the season. Halloween IS his favourite holiday after all, what with October also being the month he was born on and all. Deciding to surprise people at the gym, the aquatic heavyweight decided to dress up as King Hippo from the Punch Out games! The outfit was simple to make. All it took was a bandage on his stomach, his own boxing gloves, a plastic crown gotten from the dollar store, a bit of black grease paint around the eyes to give them a sunken-in look and some ill fitting shoes. The only thing he didn’t like was the boxing trunks since Issac NOTORIOUSLY hates having to wear anything that covers his thighs! Needless to say, the massive hippopotamus looked great in his outfit and everyone at the gym’s Halloween party loved the look. Unfortunately, Issac ended up drinking a *bit* too much fruit punch and is now drunkenly challenging everyone to an actual boxing match! Let’s just hope he won’t be needing to use those bandages for real...


So, funny story. I’m part of this one Discord server and they held a Secret Santa-esque Halloween raffle. Each person is supposed to enter their name and get randomly assigned to draw someone else’s character. Whoever you end up getting also includes a reference for a Halloween costume. I wasn’t going to do it since my artist abilities are a bit lacklustre but then I figured, why not? I can just commission a picture of someone’s character in costume and call it a night (which I did, and it turned out great IMO). Anyways, I had to pick a costume for one of my characters. So far, the ideas I came up with were Dennis dressed up as Jason Voorhees or Lazlo as a sexy vampire. In the end, I ended up going with Issac dressed up as a certain boxing hippo-man because it was SO obvious! The artist who ended up getting my entry was Augustolad whose art should be familiar if you have a look at my gallery. I frankly love how this turned out! It’s so cool looking!
