This is a panoramic set from Sunday from my old (dying) camera of the Four Mile fire's smoke, just west of Boulder Colorado. The photo is taken from the scenic overlook on the 36 just about two miles outside of Boulder.
Since the fire started Sunday around noon, 60-80 MPH winds have whipped things up much worse. Homes have been evacuated (and I think many destroyed. :( ) and now the fire is starting to head toward the main city of Boulder itself instead of staying in the foothills. A good section of West Boulder has been advised to be prepared to evacuate. Folks like myself who work in Boulder are choking on ash fallout and overall this is a mess.
I don't have any shots newer than Sunday because news crews have found the pullout and are swamping it at all hours of the day.

Thankfully the city is very big and my workplace is not at the edge. Many of our employees are potentially affected by the evacuation order if it arrives, and if the winds don't die down, it will. If the fire comes too close to major points in the city, they'll be bringing in a ton more firefighters for a city blaze rather than just a wildfire.
So other than not looking forward to choking on smoke tomorrow, I'm fine, but I do worry about the homes of some of my coworkers.
